What We Believe

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final rule for faith, doctrine, and conduct.
2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21

We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit—equal in power, essence, and glory.
Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death on the cross, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, and His personal return in power and glory.
John 1:1, Matthew 1:18-25, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4

Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and spiritual death through disobedience. Redemption is only possible through the shed blood of Jesus Christ and faith in Him.
Romans 3:23-26, Ephesians 2:8-9

We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. This involves repentance, regeneration by the Holy Spirit, and a new life of holiness and obedience.
John 3:3-7, Titus 3:5, Romans 10:9-10

We believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as a public declaration of faith and obedience to Christ.
Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:38, Romans 6:4

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a distinct experience following salvation, empowering believers for service and witness, often evidenced by speaking in tongues.
Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4, 1 Corinthians 12:7-11

We believe sanctification is a process of spiritual growth through the work of the Holy Spirit, separating believers from sin and conforming them to the image of Christ.
1 Thessalonians 4:3-7, Hebrews 12:14

We believe in divine healing as provided through the redemptive work of Christ and practiced through prayer, faith, and the laying on of hands.
Isaiah 53:5, James 5:14-15, Mark 16:17-18

We believe in the universal Church, composed of all true believers in Christ, and in the local church as a place of worship, fellowship, discipleship, and service.
Ephesians 4:11-13, Acts 2:42-47

We believe in the blessed hope—the personal, visible, and imminent return of Jesus Christ to gather His Church and establish His eternal Kingdom.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Revelation 22:12, Matthew 24:30-31

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the saved and the lost: the saved unto eternal life with Christ and the lost unto eternal separation from God.
John 5:28-29, Revelation 20:11-15

We are called to live a holy and separated life, demonstrating the character of Christ in our words, actions, and relationships.
1 Peter 1:15-16, Romans 12:1-2, Galatians 5:22-23
